The Secret Garden: Kevin & Barbara McLaughlin in their Upper East Side Townhouse

It’s nothing short of magic— starting with a citron door, up a leopard staircase to floors and rooms full of treasured collections and J.McLaughlin patterns sprinkled in. The top floor retreat, which Kevin says their Architect Doug Larson (who has also designed all 152 of our J.McLaughlin stores) wanted to be like the “top hat” of the house is cotton striped and tented like a Manhattan folly. -
