the collar is incredibly deceiving compared with the product photo. In the picture, the collar appears to lie neatly and naturally not showing any excess fabric. That is not how it fits in person. The collar is extremely bulky and stiff and juts outward by what feels like three inches. It sits close enough to the face that it feels like it is going to rub against your cheek, and it just looks awkward.
I honestly can’t tell whether the collar in the product photo has been tucked, manipulated, or digitally altered, but it does not accurately represent how the vest is designed to sit. I tried wearing it buttoned and unbuttoned, and the collar doesn’t look right either way. It’s also very difficult to position or manage because of how bulky it is.
It’s disappointing because the material itself feels great and the vest otherwise seems well made. Unfortunately, the collar is such a prominent part of the design that it ruins the overall look. The product photos should show how the collar actually sits when worn.
