Southside Cocktail Recipe Watch Hill, Rhode Island

The summer is in full swing, which means sunny afternoons, long evenings and refreshing cocktails! We’ve recently opened a new store in Watch Hill, Rhode Island and quickly learned the local summer drink of choice: the South Side. After partnering with Oysterville Vodka we've created our own version of the classic. Cool and refreshing these are best served al fresco with a view of Block Island Sound.
SOUTHSIDE COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS

Servings: makes 1
- 8 fresh mint leaves, slapped
- 3 oz. vodka
- 1½ oz. fresh lemon juice
- ¾ oz. simple syrup
- Club soda
- Lemon peel
PREPARATION

Combine mint, gin, lemon juice, and syrup in a highball glass. Fill glass with ice, then top off with club soda. Garnish with lemon peel..
