• Q Which forms of payment do you accept?

      A Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and J. McLaughlin Gift Card. We do not recommend using a Debit card on our site.

    • Q How long does it take for a charge to appear on my credit card?

      A Charges may take up to 5 days to appear on your credit card. An Authorization for the full amount of the transaction will be placed on your credit card at the time of purchase. The credit card will only be charged as items are shipped. If your order is being shipped from separate locations, you will see separate payment captures for each shipment.

    • Q Is my credit card information secure?

      A The J. McLaughlin online ordering process that involves credit card information employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. Your order is as safe online as it is in our stores.

    • Q Do you charge sales tax?

      A J.McLaughlin.com is required by law to charge applicable sales tax for orders shipped to states where J. McLaughlin has stores or other operations. Sales tax will be charged to orders shipped to: AL, CA, CO, CT, DE, D.C., FL, GA, KY, IL, MA, MD, MI, MO, MN, MS, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA. Tax will be calculated at time of checkout and will be included in your order summary.

    • Q What is the status of my order?

      A You will receive an order confirmation via email after your order is placed. You will then receive an email with the UPS tracking number once the order ships. If items are shipped separately, you will receive an email with a tracking number for each shipment. Tracking numbers can also be found by logging into my account. From there you can click the tracking number for progress of your shipment.

    • Q How do I change an order before it has shipped?

      A Please email customer service at customerservice@jmclaughlin.com and in the subject line write "CHANGE IN MY ORDER" and be sure to include your order number, first and last name and phone number. We will help you through the process of creating a new order.

    • Q What happens if an item from my order is out of stock?

      A If an item from your order is out of stock you will receive an email notification. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

    • Q How can I purchase a gift card?

      A Gift Cards can be purchased in any J.McLaughlin store location, or over the phone with Customer Service.

    • Q How do I use a gift card online?

      A Gift Cards can be used in all J.McLaughlin store locations, and can be applied to all phone orders through Customer Service. Customer Service is available M-F, 9:30 – 5:30 EST.

    • Q Can my purchase be gift wrapped?

      A Yes, while reviewing your order before checkout, you can click the box that you would like to have this gift wrapped. Please fill out the information needed and we will wrap every order that you indicate.

    • Q Do you charge for this?

      A No, gift wrapping is complimentary online and at all of our J. McLaughlin stores.  We provide gift wrapping on Full price merchandise only.

    • Q Can I request a card?

      A Yes, please include all details when prompted what to write in the gift card section. We will write your note on our J. McLaughlin stationery and include it with your gift.

    • Q Do you ship gifts with a gift receipt?

      A Please specify if you would like to include a gift receipt rather than a regular receipt.

    • Q Can I ship this gift straight to the recipient?

      A Yes. Please enter a separate shipping address at checkout when prompted to do so.
