A Monogram, A Friendship, A First: Inside The Monogram Collection by Mark D. Sikes
There are collaborations, and then there are collaborations that feel inevitable. The Monogram Collection by Mark D. Sikes is the latter — the largest partnership in J.McLaughlin's history, and proof that two brands built on the same quiet devotion to timeless hues and enduring style were always going to find their way to each other.

Two Icons, One Design Language
This is a landmark moment for both sides of the partnership. It's J.McLaughlin's first-ever collaboration with an interior designer, and Mark D. Sikes' first-ever fashion collection with us. Mark's world is home. Ours is how you dress for a life well worn. But scratch the surface and you find the same instincts underneath: a love of stripes, a reverence for navy and white, and an unshakable belief that classic style never really goes out of fashion.
Spanning womenswear, menswear, and accessories, the collection is anchored by an exclusive archival J.McLaughlin print and a signature stripe — details that carry the shared heritage of both brands while still feeling entirely their own.
"Mark and I go back to the early 2000s, so this collaboration carries a personal meaning that goes beyond the collection itself," says Greg Unis, CEO of J.McLaughlin. "What excites me most is what it represents for J.McLaughlin — our largest partnership to date, and our first with a designer whose world is home rather than fashion. Our customer has always moved seamlessly between the two, and this collection speaks directly to how they live: beautifully, intentionally, and across every part of their lives."
Mark feels it too. "A monogram is always classic, personal, and refined," he says. "It tells a story and speaks of someone with a genuine sense of history and style. That's exactly what this collection is."

The Inspiration
Think 1940s American sportswear. Think Claire McCardell's effortless practicality, and the ease of Old Hollywood translated into separates built for modern life — the dinners, the RSVPs, the seaside mornings that turn into summer evenings without much notice. Navy and white anchor the palette, with accents of red rounding it out as a quiet nod to America's 250th year.

A Few Favorites
The collection totals 42 pieces — 29 in womenswear and accessories, 13 in menswear and accessories — but a handful stand out as instant signatures:
- The Ashley Strapless Long Dress — a bold navy-and-white striped maxi with 1940s resort glamour built right in.
- The Audrey Sleeveless Shirt Dress — the collection's exclusive archival print in shirt dress maxi form, equally at home at an afternoon garden party or a summer evening out.
- Emily Shorts with Karla Shirt — polished, mix-and-match ease: a collared shirt and signature-stripe shorts that work just as well solo as they do together.
- The Emma Coat and Charlotte Drama Dress — a striking single-breasted red coat lined in the exclusive archival print, paired with an RSVP-ready dress for a look that's equal parts polished and unforgettable.
- The Donna Scarf — Wear it as a top, a headscarf, a belt, you name it.
