Lobster Boil with Monogram Mary

The quintessential New England summer dinner = a buttery lobster roll. Our friend Brooke, of Monogram Mary, invited us to tag along for her lobster boil on the Connecticut coastline.

Brooke is our go-to source for all things monogrammed; the Greenwich, CT based entrepreneur started her business in 2016 inspired by her grandmother's beautiful linen napkins. A girl after our own heart, Brooke has never met a monogram she did not love!

We recently worked with Brooke on bespoke monograms for our wicker accessories and love how they turned out! If you would like to add a Monogram Mary hand painted monogram to your J.McLaughlin bag, please reach out to Brooke over instagram and she can help you directly.

How To Have the Perfect Summer Lobster Boil

What to Wear: a no-fuss, beach friendly outfit.

Brooke is wearing our Adelaide Linen Jumpsuit in Chalk Stripe, the Rhodes Wicker Clutch in Stripe, Chiara Polarized Sunglasses in Tortoise and Sneakers (Similar.

Pack a Picnic Basket: pack up all your essentials for your dinner by the coast, and don’t forget your monogrammed napkins from Monogram Mary!

Time for Lobster: now it is time to dive in and crack open your lobster! This is where things can get a bit messy, but that is half the fun of it all. Brooke suggests dipping your lobster meat in butter or a classic remoulade sauce.

Enjoy! Happy Celebrating!
