SECOND TIME AROUND | J.MCLAUGHLIN X THE EVERGLADES FOUNDATION

Lured by the laid-back lifestyle, we opened our first Florida store in Naples in 1999. Since then, we’ve opened over 20 store across Florida and consider the sunshine state our second home. Being local and loyal is an essential part of our community and we can’t think of a better way to support this philosophy than by partnering with The Everglades Foundation. Together we are committed to protecting the natural beauty of the state we love.

The Everglades Foundation is a Florida-based nonprofit that is committed to restoring and protecting America’s Everglades. Founded in 1993, the foundation now serves as a respected advocated for the sustainability of this unique ecosystem, encompassing the majority of the state’s iconic landscape. In fact, nearly eight million Floridians rely on America’s Everglades for their drinking water.

Starting this month, this year’s exclusive collection will be available for purchase in all J.McLaughlin Florida stores as well as on j.mclaughlin.com. The collection traveled with us to Sarasota for our March Catalog shoot and will be featured on the pages of next month’s catalog.

The collection features cashmere sweaters for women and girls in Brisbane Coral print, as well as styles for men and boys. This year’s assortment also includes a linen shirt, Catalina Cloth dress, printed scarves, and a cosmetic bag. Prices range from $24.90 for the cosmetic bag to $298 for a cashmere sweater. 10% of sales will benefit The Everglades Foundation.

J.McLaughlin and The Everglades Foundation have also teamed up to host a series of in-store events throughout Florida to raise awareness and funding to support the Foundation. Events held at the J.McLaughlin stores in Boca Grande and Palm Beach kicked off the collaboration and event series, which will continue through February and into April.
